Picture with Santa

I forgot to post this earlier! Last week we waited for over an hour to take a picture with Santa. By the time it was time to take our pic, Davis was almost asleep. He woke up quick though when he saw Santa Clause. As you can see, he was definitely a little nervous about sitting on his lap. I don't think his eyes could get any bigger! No smile, but no tears either! What a big boy!

Christmas Joy

Celebrating Christmas with Davis this year was amazing. While he isn't old enough to understand Santa, he did have the best time crawling around everywhere trying to eat all of the wrapping paper and ribbons. Even with all of the gifts, he mainly wanted to play with a water bottle and a plastic measuring cup. Cameron is an expert when it comes to trains, and he was so cute showing Davis how to make the train go "choo choo." He was so sweet and patient with Davis, even when he was trying to eat his new toys. We had such a great time hanging out with family, and we feel so blessed having Davis with us this year to make the holiday extra special:)

Big Boy

Look at those big, beautiful eyes!

He had a ball playing with a roll of wrapping paper

Davis looked like such a big boy this morning in his church clothes; I couldn't resist taking some pictures. He is now 10 months old. He is still such an easy going, sweet baby. He can be shy at first, but he normally gets comfortable pretty quickly. He is becoming more and more stable when he is standing up. He will let go with one hand or wait until he is squatting close to the ground and let go with both hands. We decorated the tree this weekend and wrapped some Christmas presents. Davis wasn't interested in the tree at first because it was too prickly, but once we put the ornaments up, he definitely was ready to investigate. He thinks it is a game now to see if he can reach the tree and touch an ornament before we can get to him. So far, no broken ornaments--only 24 days to go :)

We have an appointment with the ENT this Thursday. He is still battling his double ear infection(41 days and counting). I'm hoping this last batch of medicine does the trick.
