Fall 2015

We had a wonderful October and November.  Davis was super excited for Halloween this year.  He first decided to be Captain America, but then changed his mind to Thor.  He had a great time trick or treating with kids from his class.  We went to Toni and Blaine's house and the kids had a great time. I've known Toni for years(since high school) and now her twin boys, Hudson and Brennan, are in kindergarten with Davis.  Davis also got to trick or treat with his cousins in Slidell--so much fun, despite a little rain.

Davis loves the Fall--all things pumpkins and scary Halloween decorations.  We had fun painting and carving pumpkins, going to the Pumpkin Patch on a school field trip, and definitely kept busy with karate, soccer and tennis.  Davis is up to a purple belt in karate.  He loves learning new forms and moves.  Some have over 30 different movements he has to memorize and do in sequence.  I'm so proud of him for working hard to move to the next belt!

First LSU Game

Shawn and I were so excited to take Davis to his first LSU game.  He absolutely loved it!  We walked around campus and took him to eat lunch in the Union.  He liked the idea that he was eating in the same place that Shawn and I used to go in college. :) He was amazed at Tiger Stadium and all of the excitement.  We cheered on our Tigers as they beat South Carolina 45-24.
