First Day of Kindergarten

Davis's first day of Kindergarten was GREAT!  He was super excited to start at St. Jude.  We had an orientation a few days before school which I think helped tremendously for him to feel comfortable on the first official day.  He was all smiles and looked so precious in his uniform!  Love this boy so much and feel so blessed he is able to go to St. Jude!  Can't wait to see what these next 9 years will bring!
My boy!

Just a little excited :)

Here we go...

Orientation

Walt Disney World

This post is completely out of order & LATE, but I still wanted to post some pics from our two trips.  We were so excited to be able to go to Disney World in November 2014.  It was Davis and Shawn's very first trip, so I was super excited to experience the parks as a family.  Davis was fearless on the roller coasters and rides.  His favorites were:  Space Mountain, Barnstormer, Splash Mountain, Expedition Everest, and Tower of Terror.  I'm glad we brought him when we did(age 5) because everything was still so magical for him, yet he was old enough to last all day and not get too cranky.  He LOVED meeting the characters and we were lucky enough to have my dad, Poppa, come for a few days to meet us.  Davis took on the role of being Poppa's tour guide since we had been there for a few days before Dad's arrival.  When they were about to go on a ride that Davis had done before he would tell Poppa, "Don't worry, it's not too scary."  I'm so glad Dad was able to experience Disney with Davis.  We did Crystal Palace lunch with the characters from Winnie the Pooh, Beach Club Resort breakfast with Minnie, Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy, Pirate Fireworks Cruise with Captain Hook, Smee, and Peter Pan, and Tusker House lunch with lots of the main characters in their safari gear.

We were thrilled when Lisa and Allen decided to go during Easter to Disney and were lucky enough to take the trip with them.  Davis had the best time with Emmy and Chloe and it was great to see them all together having fun at the parks.  We loved Magic Kingdom, especially the fireworks show, but I would have to say that the Fantasmic show at Hollywood Studio was one of our favorites.  It features all of the villains from Disney movies, and if you know Davis, he LOVES the villains.  It was so wonderful to be there with our family and have those memories forever.
