Davis is growing up so quickly. Shawn and I can’t believe he is about to turn one. At the moment, he loves playing with his cars and trucks, his basketball goal, and anything that rolls. He is definitely a typical little boy! He knows how to put the ball in the basket, but has more fun hanging on the rim and pulling it up and down. He is starting to make “vroom vroom” sounds when he pushes his cars and trucks; it is really, really cute! For some strange reason, he loves playing with his socks. He hates having anything on his feet and is always trying to take his shoes and socks off. When he does get them off, he holds them high in the air for everyone to see. He will also crawl around with a sock in his hand and sometimes just likes to put them in his mouth. Funny, huh? He is beginning to recognize a lot of animals(frog, tiger, giraffe, cat, dog, pelican). He tries to say frog and tiger, but as of right now, he is still only clearly saying “da da” and “kitty cat.” We are still battling ear issues. At his 2 week check up after his surgery, he had fluid in his right ear. So, we put drops for ten days, and are due to go back on January 27th. I’m hoping it will be cleared up and that we won’t have to have surgery again! Davis has been eating much better lately. He eats a lot of regular food(grits, oatmeal, blueberries, apples, carrots, pasta & more). He is also doing much better drinking out of a sippy cup. Overall, he is healthy & happy, and Shawn and I thank God everyday for our sweet baby! We are truly blessed!
