Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

 We had such a wonderful, relaxing Christmas morning.  We had gone to mass on Christmas Eve and was able to spend most of Christmas day in our pajamas.  Davis was so excited for Santa's arrival.  We left cookies for Santa and sprinkled our reindeer food that we had made with Mrs. Brittney and Madeline and Luke.  He was thrilled with the gifts Santa left for him--especially loved the Lego table and all of the ninja turtle villains.  The weekend was spent in New Roads with everyone at Mom's house.  The kids had a ball and of course the "big kids" had to get in some basketball games as we do every year.  We headed to Slidell and New Orleans for New Years.  It was so good to see Shawn's family.  It had been a long time since we were able to visit with Mrs. Carrie's sister and brothers and all of the extended family.  Davis had so much fun running around and playing with his cousins.  Shawn was able to have several days off during the holidays.  I'm very thankful that he was able to rest and relax and just spend time with family.
