Merry Christmas

Davis was so excited to see all of the goodies Santa brought for him. He loves dinosaurs right now, and it took a while for him to look at any other toy besides the dinosaurs. Shawn and I had so much fun watching how excited he got over his new toys! Overall, we had a wonderful Christmas. Shawn and I feel so blessed to have our friends and families. Most of all, we thank God everyday for our sweet boy!

Family Christmas

We celebrated in Lafayette on Christmas Eve and then went to New Roads on Christmas evening. Davis had so much fun opening his presents and playing at his Pa Pa's house and Mee Mee's house. We had to bring him to the doctor while we were in Lafayette on Christmas Eve because he was pulling at his ears. He ended up having to be put on antibiotics because both ears were infected. He JUST had his second surgery for tubes in October. They've already removed his adenoids, so I was hoping for some relief for my poor baby. We go back to the doctor on Monday, January 3rd, so hopefully the infection will be all cleared up. Despite his ear infection, he had a great time!

Getting Prepared for Christmas

Davis was so much fun this year at Christmas time. He loved singing Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Santa Clause is Coming to Town, and Jingle Bells. He was excited everyday to come home and turn on the Christmas tree lights. He loved looking at the ornaments, especially the train, police car, fire truck, and zebra. We let him open a few presents early to get some practice :)

Anna Turns One

Anna Jewel turned one in early December. We had a great time celebrating with family and friends. Anna is such a sweetheart. She was so ladylike when she was eating her cake! It was too cute!

Thanksgiving

Here are some pics from Thanksgiving in Atlanta. We had the best time hanging out with Uncle Alan, Aunt Lisa, Emmy, Chloe, Uncle Rob, Aunt Kelly, Bobby, and Mitchell. Davis did great on the 9 hour road trip, and slept in a big boy toddler bed at Aunt Lisa's house. The kids were all wonderful with Davis, and he definitely tried to keep up with them the whole time.
