Happy Days

We have been enjoying our time outside in this beautiful weather.  Davis loves playing in the leaves and blowing bubbles.  He has also been playing with all of his new birthday toys.  His new obsession is his BIG Buzz Lightyear that Mrs. Wendy gave him.   Lately, he has also been playing a lot with his stuffed animals.  He loves for them to talk to each other and for them to do things that he does.  He will have Buzz say high to T-Rex and ask him if he wants to play, and he will have his stuffed pig eat mashed potatoes and then go to sleep.  It is too cute!

Happy Birthday Davis!

Our sweet boy turned two on February 4th!  He is such a big boy now!  He absolutely loves dinosaurs.  He recognizes the pictures and says all of their names(triceratops, t-rex, sauropod, stegosaurus, pterodactyl).  After dinosaurs, he loves his airplanes, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Elmo, and playing on the i-pad.  He knows most of his letters & loves to count.  He is definitely still shy at times, especially if he doesn't know you, but if you give him time to warm up, he will talk your ear off!  I'm constantly amazed by what comes out of his mouth!  Some of my favorite things he says right now are:

-hi mommy
-what you doing?
-big bed(when he wants to play in our bed)
-come on, mommy/daddy
-let's go
-love you
-hold you
-hi/bye
-No, I do it
-no way
-okay
-alright
-yippee/hooray
-here you go
-thank you/please
-I did it/I made it
-look at me
-"ta da"-when he does something that he is proud of/or finds something that he is excited about

Davis had a great time at his birthday party.  He kind of had a rough start.  He work up early and was sleeping when everyone arrived, so it took him a little while to warm up.  He absolutely hated it when everyone sang happy birthday to him, but he warmed up a bit once he started opening his presents.  He had so much fun playing with his cousins.  Overall, it was a great day!  We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family!
