Holiday Time

The last two months have been super fun for us.  Davis loves looking at Christmas lights and listening to Christmas music.  His favorite Christmas songs on the radio are John Lennon's Happy Christmas(what can I say...Davis is an old soul) and Feliz Navidad.  He will sing both in the car with a big grin on his face.  His Christmas concert was at school and I loved watching him sing on stage.  He is such a big boy.  His teacher, Mrs. Loar, did a project with the T-K class.  In order to understand the true meaning of Christmas and that it is better to give than to receive, the children were able to work at home doing chores, etc. to earn change.  They brought their change in for two weeks and filled up the jar at school.  Davis really got into it.  He wanted to make his bed, clean his room, help put away clothes....he knew the money was going to help kids get food and presents on Christmas Day.  I was so proud of the way he wanted to help others in need.

Davis has been loving his elf, Lloyd, this year.  He ends each day with a big smile on his face always asking "I wonder what Lloyd is going to do next."  Lloyd has battled with Star Wars characters, had an adventure with an anaconda snake, had some fun doodling on Davis's pictures, and sometimes just leaving sweet notes.  We are looking forward to Santa's arrival!   Pics are from November and December!
